The French trip to Martinique (MAR-TIN-EEK) is holding a candy jar fund raiser. Check out the jar of M&M's in Room 119 and see Ms. Brzozowski or Mr. Tarbox to guess how many candies are in the jar. Guesses are $1 and the closest guess wins the jar. Winner will be announced on September 30.


Reminder to all students and staff who purchased a t-shirt on credit last week...please get your $5 to Mr. Moreno.


There will be a mandatory Martinique meeting during H-Block A today in room 220. See Mr. Tarbox or Ms. Brzozowski if you cannot attend.


Going to Puerto Rico?  There is a mandatory meeting on Thursday.  Mrs. Wilson's room H-Block A


The Class of 2017 is looking for volunteers for their annual Haunted Hallway. Please sign up outside Ms. Stevens' door. We need people to help set up, clean up, and participate in the scaring as zombies and mad scientists. If any teams or clubs would like to decorate an entire classroom for local kids to trick or treat through, please see Ms. Stevens. Community service hours will be given to volunteers.


Juniors and Sophomores: it is time to sign up for the PSATs. This annual practice exam and scholarship qualifying test will be offered on Wednesday, October 19th. If you are interested in more information or signing up please see Mrs. White in the guidance office.


SENIORS: The guidance office is sponsoring a bus to the NEACAC College Fair taking place at Saint Michael's College Thursday, September 22nd.   The bus will depart at 

8 am and return by 1 PM, lunch is provided at St. Michaels for $5. PLEASE SIGN UP TODAY if you plan on coming.


Any student interested in going on the Washington DC trip from March 15th-17th, please see Mrs. Johnson in Rm. 213.


Library is closed for testing during 1st block only today, tomorrow, and Friday.


The Prom Committee will be accepting votes for the “Dare a teacher fundraiser” in the H-Lobby during H- Block. Please come with a few dollars to vote and get the chance to pie a teacher, paint their face, dump water over their head, or even shave their head. Mr. Fogg will be getting in on the fun to support the Haven during “Hunger Awareness Month.” Cast your vote—voting ends on October 6th.


The Class of 2018 is selling Hurricanes t-shirts and tank tops to raise money for prom! Order forms are in room 107 and are due this Friday .


Reminder to all Freshmen wanting to run for student council, please get your paperwork into Mrs. Johnson. The deadline is this Friday the 23rd.


We have College Reps here today from Guilford College @ 9am, Eckerd College @ 10:15am, and U Mass- Amherst @ 11:15am. College Reps from Elizabeth Town will be here Thursday and on Friday Reps from the University of Rhode Island and River Valley Community College will be here. Please see the Guidance Dept to sign up and get passes.
