"The Lottery"

Hartford High School proudly presents "The Lottery" a play written by Brainerd Duffield and based on Shirley Jackson's seminal short story of the same name. A town gathers for their annual lottery. Hope Happens Here

This Friday, January 31st is our school’s Chapter of Hope Happens Here's first mental health awareness basketball game. Hope Happens Here is a mental health awareness organization that is dedicated to starting the conversation about mental health removing the stigma around it. Be sure to wear green, the mental health awareness color. Varsity at 7, JV at 5:30.

Lead Testing

As part of a new law, all schools and childcare providers are required to test for lead in drinking water and fix any issues when lead is found above an established action level. The intent of the law is to protect children, students, and staff from lead in these settings. Congratulations to Mike Hathorn on his grant proposal that made it to the state finalist stage of the Samsung Solve For Tomorrow challenge. The Hartford Autism Regional Program has teamed up with folks from the Dartmouth Autism Research Initiative, the Special Needs Support Center and Keene Perspectives to create "Sensory UV."
